Frequently Asked Questions

What is freehand tattooing and how does it differ from classic tattooing?

Freehand tattooing means that the design is not pre-drawn on paper and then transferred to the skin. Instead, the motif is drawn directly onto the client's body, often using markers. This allows the design to be perfectly adapted to the body's anatomy, creating unique, organic shapes that blend with the skin. Classic tattooing usually starts with a pre-prepared stencil.

How does the process work from first contact to the finished tattoo?

It all starts with your inquiry, ideally via the form or email, where you describe your idea and placement. This is followed by a consultation where we discuss details, size, and style. For freehand tattoos, the design is created directly on the skin on the day of the session. Then follows the tattooing itself, and finally, aftercare instructions. I am here to guide you through the entire process.

How should I prepare for a tattoo session?

Before getting a tattoo, it's important to be well-rested, fed, and hydrated. Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours beforehand. The area to be tattooed should be clean and shaved. Wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty and keep in mind that you will spend a longer time in one position.

How do I care for a new tattoo?

After the tattoo is finished, I will give you detailed aftercare instructions. Generally, the tattoo needs to be kept clean, hydrated with a special ointment, and protected from the sun. Avoid swimming in pools and saunas during the healing period. Proper care is key for a beautiful and lasting result.

Where is your studio located?

I tattoo in a Prague studio in Letná. You will receive the specific address from me when arranging the appointment. Occasionally, you can also find me guesting in other cities, especially in Amsterdam abroad. I announce such trips in advance on Instagram and in my newsletter.

When is the best time to get a tattoo?

When arranging a tattoo appointment, consider whether you are planning to go to the water (swimming, pool) in the next two weeks or if you want to run a marathon the day after. Your body should be able to rest the day after the tattoo, and for at least a week, the injured skin will need to be protected from external infections.

Definitely do not get a tattoo if you are sick.
